KBN World Cup Watch Party: Cheering Together, Building Community
June 18, 2026
On the evening of June 18, KBN members gathered at SERV in Kansas City to watch the FIFA World Cup qualifying match between South Korea and Mexico. While the result on the field was not what we had hoped for, the evening was a wonderful reminder that sports have a unique way of bringing people together.
As the match unfolded, our members proudly cheered for Korea, sharing the excitement, anticipation, and passion that come with supporting our national team. The energy in the room made it feel as though we were thousands of miles closer to home.
One of the highlights of the evening was seeing such a diverse group of people come together. Many students joined us, along with several new faces attending a KBN event for the first time. It was a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere where conversations flowed naturally, friendships were formed, and new connections began.
At KBN, we believe that building a strong business community starts with building genuine relationships. Events like this remind us that meaningful networking doesn’t always happen in a conference room—it often begins by simply sharing an experience together.
We are grateful to everyone who came out to support Korea, spend time with fellow Korean Americans, and help strengthen our growing community in Kansas City.
As we continue to host events throughout the year, we hope to create even more opportunities for Korean Americans, students, entrepreneurs, professionals, and friends to connect, encourage one another, and build a vibrant community that will continue to shine in Kansas City.
Thank you to everyone who joined us. We look forward to seeing you at our next KBN event! 🇰🇷
