Kansas City Korean Business Network – A Meaningful Start to 2026

Last Friday, March 6, the Kansas City Korean Business Network (KBN) held its first gathering of 2026 at DataLocker. It was a meaningful evening filled with reconnections, new introductions, and encouraging conversations among business leaders and entrepreneurs in our community.

It was especially wonderful to reconnect with familiar faces and also to welcome many new members who joined the network for the first time. Seeing new people step into the community and begin building relationships made the evening particularly special.

As KBN President, Ben AhnI am grateful for the opportunity to help bring together business owners, entrepreneurs, and professionals who share a heart for building stronger connections within the Korean business community in Kansas City. I would also like to express sincere appreciation to Grace Ahn for her support.

A special thank you toJay Kim and Daniel Kim for generously allowing us to use the Data Locker space. Your support helped create a great environment for our community to gather.

We are also grateful to Hyeyeon Park Myers for preparing such a delicious meal for everyone. The kimbap and japchae were fantastic and added a warm, community-centered atmosphere to the evening.

Thank you as well to John Yang for leading a thoughtful mini workshop on Goal Setting & Execution Strategy, and toDongJoo Kim, Changhyun , Steven, Rachel Morrow, and Joonghoon (Joshua) Do do for helping with the setup and making sure everything ran smoothly.

The evening clearly reflected one of the greatest strengths of this community: people who are genuinely willing to encourage, share, and support one another in business and leadership.
